Dr. William Lamptey was born into a Christian family and was confirmed in his faith at the age of 12. His journey in the church began early, serving as a Bible School teacher from ages 13 to 18. During his youth, William also took on the role of music director for the Youth Band in International Christian Fellowships in both Ghana and Ukraine. He is an accomplished pianist and vocalist, performing Christian music within the church and beyond. William’s academic and professional achievements are extensive. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and a Master’s in Theology, along with degrees in Tropical Medicine and Public Health, a Higher Diploma in Laboratory Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research, and training in general surgery and urology. His education spans several countries, including Ghana, Ukraine, the USA, the UK, and Germany. Professionally, William has served in various capacities, including senior staff at the University of Ghana Medical School’s Department of Anatomy, Medical Officer at Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Medical Director at GBC Clinic, Resident Surgeon at MAH, Co-founder and Director at Health Portal Clinic, and Trainee at Poznan Oncology Center in Poland. William is a firm believer in the Holy Bible as the true Word of God and upholds the teachings of Jesus Christ. He believes in the inherent value and potential of every individual and invites all to experience the love of God as expressed in John 3:16.
